Dr. Daeseon Kim, DPT
(Physical Therapist)
Dr. Kim is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist who received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of North Georgia and has been specializing in orthopedics both in recreational and professional levels ever since. He uses advanced Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy to remove adhesions and scar tissues. He is also certified in Vestibular rehabilitation.
He has a diverse background to draw upon. He used to practice in a Neurological rehabilitation center in South Korea, working for stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, GBS, spinal cord injury, Parkinson and geriatric patients. He also has experience in aquatic therapy and postoperative rehabilitation such as Hip Arthroscopy, ACL, PCL reconstruction, Meniscus repair, Rotator cuff repair, Total shoulder replacement, TKR and THR.
Daeseon can handle every case but has special interest in treating spine and disc related pathology, believing that it is reversible with specific therapeutic exercise, posture correction and his unique manual techniques drawn from the osteopathic philosophy.
He always tries to find the best way for each client to restore the highest possible level of function and puts his heart into every case. Out of the office, he enjoys playing soccer and weightlifting.
